Payroll & Benefits Information

2025-2026 PAYROLL INFORMATION

Payroll is the 20th of each month
Direct deposit forms available at the District Office only.
New hire information:
Direct Deposits take two pay cycles to be active.
Deadline is the 5th of each month for:
  • timesheets to be turned in to payroll (for payment that month)
  • payroll and deduction changes to be turned in to payroll (for changes to take affect that month)

2025-2026 INSURANCE INFORMATION

New hires are benefits eligible the 1st of the month following their first day of work
New hires hired after September 5th each year, must complete an OEBB enrollment form.
Each employee that works 4 hours or more each day has an insurance cap to use each month:
$4-4.9 hour/day employees
$5-5.9 hour/day employees
$6-6.9 hour/day employees
$7-8.0 hour/day employees
 
The calculate your out of pocket insurance cost, take your cap, subtract the cost of your health plans (Medical, Dental and Vision added together). If the amount is a negative, you will not have anything deducted for insurance costs/month.  If the amount is positive, this is the amount you will have deducted per paycheck.
 
Insurance plan year - October 1st through September 30th
Mid-Year hires plan year will be pro-rated - the 1st of the month following their start date through September 30th.

OPT-OUT INFORMATION---HRAVEBA & MORE

Employees that opt-out of District medical insurance and have other group coverage can qualify for opt-out dollars.  These are District dollars deposited directly to your HRAVEBA account.

HRA (Health Reimbursement Account) is similar to a HSA in that you can use the dollars for eligible health related expenses and the money is yours to keep during and after employment.
