Teaching & Learning

Students in Classroom
The primary responsibilities of this department include curriculum, instruction, assessment, Federal Title programs, Migrant Education, Dual Language Programs, English Language Development, and professional learning.  We work to support schools as they strive to engage every student in meaningful learning through high-quality, accessible instruction, and relevant content within effective learning environments.  Meeting the learning needs of a diverse group of students requires a variety of programs, tools, and instructional approaches.

The District Strategic Plan guides programs, initiatives, and instructional practices that support the learning of the whole student.  One area this team is focused on  is continuing to develop innovative educational opportunities for our students and staff.
