Pleasant View High School is an alternative education facility providing education services to students who may not be able to succeed in a traditional school setting for a variety of reasons. Alt-Ed schools emphasize student achievement through individualized education, differentiated curriculum, and a flexible schedule. Pleasant View provides a means for students to meet statutory requirements for an Oregon Diploma or GED. Principal Suzy Mayes and six certified and classified staff oversee the education of the approximately 100 students enrolled in the program over the course of the school year, many of whom return to the high school after completing the work necessary to be on track for graduation.
Pleasant View High School is operated in the Milton-Freewater School District through a consortium with the InterMountain Education Service District.
