Artist-in-Residence to hold free community workshop Dec. 7

12/05/2011 Ferndale Elementary School is hosting bead artist Jeanne Leffingwell all this week as its artist-in-residence, and the general public will have an opportunity to learn about the art of beading during a community workshop Dec. 7.
Leffingwell will offer the free public workshop on Wednesday, Dec. 7, from 2:30-4 p.m. in the art room at Ferndale Elementary. This will be a fantastic opportunity for community members to meet the artist and learn more about her beading techniques. The workshop is suitable for all ages and experience levels.
Ferndale Elementary is located at 53445 W. Ferndale Road in Milton-Freewater. From Highway 11 North, turn left on Ferndale Road.
