Flags to be lowered Wednesday, December 16, 2009 in honor of Navy Sailor, Petty Officer 3rd Class David M. Mudge
MF school flags will be flown at half-staff on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 in memory of Navy Sailor, Petty Officer 3rd Class David M. Mudge of Sutherlin.
Mudge, 22, died November 28th in a non-hostile accident aboard the Navy ship USS Rentz while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
“David served his country with honor and dedication,” said Governor Kulongoski. “His sacrifice for our country will never be forgotten, and I ask all Oregonians to join me in honoring his memory as flags fly at half-staff on Wednesday.”
